As a newer Las Vegas Realtor, getting an offer was a matter of time. Not only did I get my first offer, but 3 more all in the same day. I was able to negotiate a counteroffer and get it accepted all within 48 hours. The deal also didn't go through, but in 72 hours, I went from 4 offers, and a counteroffer to a deal. It was a great learning experience and I can't wait to do more.

I got my first offer.

I did it. I opened my email, and there it was, a first offer. Everyone tells you your heart will sink to your stomach. I didn't know that it could possibly happen, it's just an email. Well, it did. Insert heart in stomach. 

Not only did we get one offer, but hours later 3 more rolled in. Every single one followed that same heart sinking feeling. It was a good feeling, a new one, and I loved it. 

Since it was my first offer(s), I now didn't know what to do. Obviously present them to my seller but I was overly joyed with the entire process. 

So now I have the 4 offers, and I've shown them to seller, now its up to them, so we wait. Counters, more offers plenty of signatures and the whole roller coaster ride!

Boo! 

It's that time of year again, and possibly my favorite. This year, I will be a normal catwoman, while my daughter has chosen Bat girl and my wonderful boyfriend is playing along and being Batman. I'm excited for the festivities and look forward to all the pictures and candy!

As someone who isn't handing out candy this year (don't worry, my house will be manned and armed with candy givers). I have to put out a few of my favorite tips.

Never trick or treat alone
Bring a flashlight
If you have that awesome mask on, make sure you can see!
Don't walk in the street, stay on the sidewalks and use crosswalks.

Oh and lastly, Enjoy the candy and fun!

I did it! I though the blog would be a little easier to keep up, but apparently, I overestimated. However, I finished real estate school, passed the test and I have joined a company! Now the exciting part, juggling work and home life and making it work!


So here it is. Another blog and I hope that I can MAYBE stick with it this time. I thought I'd share with the blogger world me everything life. I can't say its been extremely tough, nut after a few good hits, its worth laughing at.

To start and let you in on my little world. I am a mother of a beautiful girl, who is soon to be 3! I'm also divorced, which took about 2 long expensive years, but we are both much happier now and I'm about to pursue a second job.

It all started a few weeks ago. Officially. I've always wanted to pursue real estate, but with my current job, I was able to work from home and be with my daughter, off on weekends and fairly early. The pay, wasn't amazing, but we have benefits and make a nice living. However, a few weeks ago, I was informed that we are no longer continuing our home work studies, and we would all be returning to the office. Problem - I love my time at home with my baby, and while she spends time at her dads, now I was forced to pick a preschool or more time with other relatives.

I decided preschool. Potty trained and letter writing ready, I think it will be the best for the both of us. She is growing up so fast and the interaction will be great for her considering not many of my friends have children. After coming to the conclusion that preschool was the option, I now had to work it into my budget! So that's how I decided Real Estate on the side to help supplement. I know its not a booming market but every little bit could help. Since she does spend time with her Dad, it does give me the free time to pursue something part time.

So that's where my journey with the blog starts. One full time job, pursuring a second. Overcoming separation anxiety with putting my daughter in preschool, and a new blog. Let's see how it goes!

Oh and did I mention, we have 3 dogs too.
